Why a fee calculator matters
Most marketplaces take their cut from more than the item price. eBay and Etsy charge on shipping, eBay and Reverb charge on sales tax, and payment processors add a fixed amount to every payment. A few percent here and a few cents there add up to a real share of your margin.
Our calculators show every fee on its own line, so you can see exactly where the money goes. Add your costs and each one shows your profit, your break-even price and the price you need to reach a profit target. Calculations run entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Rates come from each platform’s published US fee pages and were last reviewed in September 2026. Platforms change their fees, so every calculator lets you edit the rates if your statement shows something different.
