- Online card payments: 2.9% + $0.30.
- In person with Stripe Terminal: 2.7% + $0.05.
- ACH Direct Debit: 0.8%, capped at $5.

A $5 payment loses about 8.9% to fees. A $1,000 payment loses about 2.9%. Small-ticket businesses feel the fixed fee most.

- International cards: +1.5%.
- Currency conversion: +1%.
- Manually entered cards: +0.5%.
- Stripe Invoicing: 0.4% per paid invoice on the Starter plan.
Disputes
A card dispute costs $15. If you win it, the fee is returned. Keep delivery proof and clear refund policies to reduce disputes. Read Stripe refund and dispute fees.

Billing, Tax, Radar for Fraud Teams, Connect and others have their own pricing. Only add them if you use them.
Custom pricing
Businesses with large volumes can ask Stripe for custom rates. If you have one, enter it in the fee settings.
