Storage fees
Copart gives a short free storage period after the sale. After that, daily storage applies. If transport is not arranged, a week of delays can cost more than you expect. Book transport before you bid.
Late payment fees
Miss the payment deadline and a late fee is added. Wire transfers can take time to clear, so pay early.
Broker fees
Buyers without a dealer license need a broker for many lots, and brokers charge their own fees. Some broker platforms add documentation or service charges on top.
Sales tax
Unless you are a dealer with a resale certificate, sales tax may be due, either at Copart or when you register the vehicle in your state.
Transport
Distance, vehicle size and whether the car runs all change the price. Non-running vehicles need a winch, which costs more.
