How it adds up
Cashing out $300 instantly each week at 1.75% costs about $5.25 a week, or roughly $273 a year. On a business account, that is on top of the 2.75% already taken from each payment.
When instant deposit is worth it
- You need the money for an urgent bill or supplier payment today.
- Waiting would cause a late fee larger than the instant deposit fee.
When to wait
- Regular income you can plan around.
- Small balances, where the $0.25 minimum makes the percentage high. Cashing out $5 instantly costs 5%.
Alternatives
